You Can Help!

Become a Host Family

The Ulster Project seeks 6 Catholic and 6 Protestant families with a 14-16 year old teen who is willing to actively participate in the project month. Each Northern Irish teen is paired with an American host teen of the same gender, age, religious affiliation, and similar interests. The host teens and families are an integral part of a successful Ulster Project. Host families and teens must complete an application and interview process.

Host a Counselor

Two Families / Individuals are needed to host the Adult Northern Irish Counselors. The Northern Irish teens travel to Alliance with two leaders who are usually young to middle age adults; 1 male, 1 female. Each Counselor needs a Host Family to stay with and transportation to Project activities during their time in Alliance.

Sharing your Time and Talent

We need volunteers with various skills to help with the Ulster Project. We have opportunities on several committees.

Make a Donation

Contributions by donors will be used to help cover the costs of the Ulster Project. Project costs include a portion of the Northern Irish Teen’s airfare, insurance, and most importantly Program Activity during July. No one on the Board of Directors or the committees receives any financial compensation. 100% of donations go directly to the project. All cash and in-kind gifts are tax deductible.
